Whether you’re using Plesk or cPanel, doing a HostGator backup is a pretty painless, straightforward process. Both control panels have backup and restore icons that make the job extremely easy.

To do a HostGator web hosting backup in Plesk, simply click the “Backup” icon located in the domain group. In cPanel, simply login and click “Backup”.
