HostGator Parked Domain Tutorial

Using a parked domain with your Host Gator account is easy and only takes a minute to set up. Parked domains are great for those times when you don’t have a site built yet, but still want to get the URL online.

To add a parked domain in your HostGator web hosting account, simply follow these steps:

1. Login and click “Parked Domains”
2. Next to “New Domain Name”, enter the domain name that you want to park on top of your primary domain
3. Click “Add Domain”

As you can see, adding and managing a parked domain at HostGator is extremely simple to do. Once you’ve completed the steps above, you should see the primary domain’s content and the parked domain’s URL in the browser address bar.
