One of the advantages to signing up for a HostGator webhosting account is the level of free technical support that customers receive. As a Host Gator customer, you’ll always have access to tech support during those times where you need a question answered or have an issue or problem relating to your hosting account or dedicated server.

Host Gator actually offers several different customer support platforms, including live chat, a toll-free phone number, email, and a support ticket system.

While the HostGator.com email and support ticketing systems work fine, I personally prefer to use the live chat or phone support instead. With their toll-free customer support telephone line and live Internet chat setup, it’s easy to get help with your web host issues quickly.
